Had full hip replacement done by Verghese. Helpful, informative, and even called me at home to check on me. Highly recommend! And no pain!
My wife just left from an appointment with this Dr. she waited 8 MONTHS to see him as she had an MRI done for hip labral tears the ortho Dr who read her scan explained she needed arthroscopic surgical repair , after changing ins companies she was referred to Dr Verghese , this "doctor" told her nothing is wrong with her hips , when she asked out of curiosity ..why the last Dr told her she had this injury Verghese response was very abrupt " well go back and see him then " then he offers her a cortisone shot ...BUT sh would have to wait until he saw his other patients first . ....she left in tears . bad guy , bad manners. TRY TO AVOID
This ass quack of a doctor took no time with my wife. She was treated so poorly she came home crying. He didn't address all her issues she had. He actually told her he didn't have time for her other issues. I could add even more but just know to stay away from this idiot. He doesn't deserve your buisness. your just a $ to him.
Seems like a good person. Came highly recommended from a friend. But when I waited for over an hour again the SECOND TIME I went to see him I got up and left. He seemed genuinely apologetic but his staff looked at me as if I was an ogre - how dare I question the doctor. He needs to understand people that are not retired or on w/c don't have that kind of time to wait. And plus it's just plain rude! His time is no more important than anybody else. So I will start over with a doctor in Joliet, where I have had better on-time experiences in the past.
I had a friendly welcome, and very good advice from Dr. Verhese. My problem was solved with therapy after a good diagnosis, very competent, and knowledgeable. Would advise my family and friends to consultant with dr. Verghese if having any orthopedic issues. GOOD DOC!!!!!
