Doctor Zelany has been our vet since moving to Frankfort nearly 15 years ago. He definitely is a very caring vet and does go above and beyond. He was there when I put my very "first"dog down.
They were amazing! We are from out of state and didn't know of any vets in the area. They were very kind to squeeze our dog in on such short notice. Highly recommend! Excellent service and care!

I don't normally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. I took my pittie here after he injured his paw and had a severe infection. It was my first visit after a bad experience at my normal vet thus clinic was highly recommended by 2 close friends and fellow rescuers. Dr. Z was booked but came back from lunch early too treat my dog because I was a wreck and so worried about him. He was very kind (as was the entire staff) thorough in his treatment and took the time to explain everything to me about his care and treatment and to answer all my questions. The ladies their where so kind to my boy and didn't treat him any different just because he is a "pitbull." My boy sensed their kindness and was very calm and relaxed. They called me the next morning to check in on him and help with aftercare instructions. I couldn't say enough good things about this clinic and it's staff. I'm so glad to have FINALLY found a vet we love and is close to home!
I would refer him time and time again and will continue to go to him with my other animals and no we will be getting the best care possible for them.
We've been taking our dogs and cats there for about 15 years, for all things big and small. Including some of our pets for their final journey. Dr. Zeleny, Dr. Haaskamp, and the rest of the staff there are fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, always accommodating if something urgent comes up, and genuinely caring for both pets and their human families. Most "human doctors" could learn alot from them! I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Our other dog we had for over 12 years was in his care every step of the way through diabetes and allergic reactions and we felt like we were his only client only walked in the door. We were never rushed and we were always spoken to with respect and kindness
I will never forget his compassion and his understanding and his complete openness about the situation. He wasn't there to try to make money and do testing that was unnecessary. He had us go home and enjoy a few more hours with Murphy and came back right before closing to help him ease his suffering.
