They owe EVERYONE!!!
We purchased a house from the G-Slow team. It is a gorgeous house. HOWEVER, the team does not respond. We had an addendum in writing to have the rest of the repairs done within 30 days. They didn't even respond to us or schedule a guy to come out for 45 days after closing. Then he didn't show up. Did they respond and send someone else? NOPE. 60 days later we were still waiting to hear back. We gave up.
They must be about bankrupt if they cannot pay the lousy $1800.00 they owe me.
This is the worst company we have ever worked with! SLOW is just the beginning of it!
You are seriously looking to get ripped off if you deal with them!
This company is a FRAUD!!!!!! Do not use them under any circumstances; much less become a vendor for them. They DO NOT PAY!!!!
I have owned a small business for several years now and have NEVER dealt with such unprofessionalism in my life!!!!!!!!
WARNING! Do NOT do business with GSlow; we worked with them end of 2014& beginning of 2015 and they have not paid their balance or even make an effort to resolve their debt with us. We called them various times to follow up with payment statutes and their accounting dept were RUDE to us making it seem like we were at fault. In short words, we would get paid whenever they felt like paying us and if they decide NOT to pay us, it would be up to them. We received full verbal and written approval to repair and/or replace equipment and even then, they still owe us a good amount of money. NO complaints or callbacks from tenants so NO reason NOT to pay us. They will take advantage of contractors and subcontractors...i wish there was no stars to give because even one star is TOO high for these people.
Not only that, we had our pipes burst. It's Chicago. We would expect that the proper precautions are taken when insulating near and around the water line coming into the house. NOPE. When we opened up the wall, there was no insulation on the pipes NOR anywhere near the pipes. In addition, several contractors recommend demolishing the finished basement and starting again with insulation in the walls.
Do not do business with G-Slow if you are a contractor or sub contractor. They do not pay and they lie to you!!! We worked on three projects for them. The first one they shorted us and the second and third project they did not pay at all. It has been six months. The owner, construction manager and staff led us on since October regarding paying us for the work we completed. We met with the owner and manager at their office and we're promised to be paid in full. We were patient for over three months and followed up every couple of weeks. Ken said we would have a check the week before Christmas...Guess what, nothing and he didn't return our call. After the new year he told us to file a lien on the properties. They do not pay, will not pay and will lie to your face. Beware!!!
Good luck if you go with them. They make pretty houses but don't respond. You wouldn't purposefully put SLOW in your name if it wasn't your brand standard.
I have worked with George and his team on several occasions. He and his team are the most professional and knowledgeable, with such a prompt response. 5 stars wouldn't be enough to rate the service we receive. They will ALWAYS have my business and the business of my friends and family.
They assign you several work orders, have you fund all your own material expense then just stiff you. They have had a parade of people that worked there in the short 2 months I worked with this company.
